Jeff Barrett
Founder & Executive Director · Grow WILDE
Jeff Barrett is the visionary founder of Grow WILDE, bringing decades of expertise in outdoor education, ecotourism, and experiential learning to a not-for-profit movement transforming education systems. With two Master's degrees in Planning and Landscape Architecture, and a track record of building successful educational and community initiatives from Alaska to Oman, Jeff founded Grow WILDE to scale the impact of nature-based learning and create systemic change in how schools connect with the natural world.
Ali Bush
Director of Teaching and Learning · Grow WILDE
Ali is a passionate educator and advocate for integrating outdoor learning into schools nationwide. With a background in Physical Education and Outdoor Education, she brings energy, warmth, and expertise to Grow WILDE's mission of transforming education through nature-based learning. Ali works with educators across multiple institutions to design curriculum-aligned outdoor programs that develop critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and lifelong learners.
Brayden Plummer
Director of Education · Grow WILDE
Brayden is an educational innovator and systems thinker dedicated to transforming how schools approach learning and nature. With 15 years of experience in both experiential and traditional educational settings, including leadership roles at Pretty River Academy and his educational consulting company, Brayden brings strategic vision to Grow WILDE's mission. He bridges the gap between classroom practice and systemic change, helping educators and institutions adopt permacognitive principles and integrate outdoor learning at scale.
