Volunteer & Internship Opportunities

Grow WILDE offers purposeful volunteer and internship placements for students, professionals, and community members — structured around real work in outdoor education, campus development, research, and community programs.

What

Real work, real contribution

Opportunities include supporting outdoor education programs, assisting with campus development and ecological restoration, contributing to research or curriculum projects, and helping deliver community-based initiatives. Wherever possible, placements are structured to align with individual interests, career pathways, and learning requirements — including academic credit, professional development, or service learning goals.

Placements are reciprocal by design: participants gain practical experience, skills, and mentorship while contributing directly to projects that strengthen learning environments and community resilience.

Vision

Pathways into the movement

A growing network of people connected through real work — students building career experience, professionals sharing expertise, community members contributing to the places they live in. Each placement deepens both individual capacity and collective impact.

Purpose

Contribution builds competence

Volunteers and interns gain practical skills while helping Grow WILDE expand its reach. Research on service learning is linked to stronger civic identity, career readiness, and sense of purpose — particularly when placements involve real responsibility and skilled mentorship rather than peripheral tasks.
